MILLÉSIME 2024 – Spring Food pairing
New Vintage – Freshness, Balance & the Spirit of the Season
As the sunny days return, so does the desire to gather around a table — on a terrace, in the garden, or by the sea — with a glass of rosé in hand. At Maison Gutowski, spring always marks a turning point: a season of renewal, sharing, and the first bottles of the new vintage.
The 2024 vintage is here, and it perfectly embodies this spirit. Bright, fruit-driven, precise cuvées born from our ever-evolving terroir in the Côtes de Provence, and from the careful attention we give at every stage — from vine to cellar.
A Living Terroir, Wines in Motion
Around the Massif des Maures, in the heart of Provence, our vineyard plots tell a unique story, where every soil, every slope, and every grape variety plays its own part.
This year again, we refined our cultivation practices to meet both the challenges of the climate and the needs of our living soils, all while pursuing the most authentic expression of our land.
The result: rosés that are more complex and structured than ever, yet always refreshingly vibrant. We invite you to discover our signature cuvées: M–G La Dépendance, M–G Grande Cuvée, M–G Réserve
A Rosé in Perfect Balance
The 2024 vintage opens with floral and citrus notes, a lively, silky mouthfeel, and a delicate, slightly saline finish. The texture of our Grande Cuvée is particularly refined this year — precise and expressive.
This is a rosé that fits seamlessly into the M–G philosophy: elegant, poised, and subtle, designed for everything from spontaneous aperitifs to long, celebratory meals.
SPRING FOOD PAIRING
The Art of Pairing Simplicity, Freshness and Generosity
M–G rosé stands out for its balance between brightness and roundness, making it the perfect match for light, plant-forward, seafood-based, or delicately spiced dishes. In spring, as the produce gets fresher and the meals lighter, our rosé naturally takes center stage on the table.
Here are a few pairings that will elevate your experience of our 2024 vintage this season:
Starters & Aperitifs
White or green asparagus, soft-boiled egg, and shaved parmesan
The crisp freshness of asparagus and the richness of the egg play beautifully with the wine’s brightness, while the parmesan adds umami that extends the finish.
Our favourite for rosé pairings: Ottolenghi’s Roasted Asparagus with Almonds.
Creamy burrata, strawberries and basil-infused olive oil
A pairing as beautiful as it is delicious — milky softness, fruity acidity, and herbaceous notes that echo the wine’s aromatic finesse.
Spring pea and mint hummus with grilled pita
Green, fresh, aromatic — a light plant-based appetizer that brings out the floral and mineral notes in the rosé.
Main Dishes
Sea bream ceviche with lime, coriander and pomegranate
The dish’s citrusy tension mirrors the wine’s natural freshness, while the exotic fruit notes subtly echo the cuvée’s complexity.
Tuna tartare with mango and marinated ginger
Vibrant, slightly spicy and rich — a dish that balances beautifully with the crisp edge and smooth texture of the rosé.
Zucchini risotto with preserved lemon zest
A creamy, delicate dish that harmonizes wonderfully with the cuvée’s roundness and finesse.
Our favourite pairing for rosé — find the recipe on Belqis Valsan’s profile.
Cheese & Dessert
Fresh goat or sheep cheese with seeded bread or olive fougasse
A terroir-driven pairing that pays tribute to the Mediterranean roots of our wines.
Caramelised strawberry tart with sliced almonds
A tender, lightly tangy fruit dessert that gently extends the wine’s aromatic profile with elegance.
